Aside from blogging about this May 21 rapture thing, I would like to share some details about rapture based from the bible and how to become a part of it.
I am a Christian, but not a very zealous one. But I strongly believe that bible is a written word of GOD that we can rely on.

Who says end of the world is coming on May 21, 2011?

The 89 years old radio announcer from Oakland California named Harold Camping prophesied that on May 21, 2011 the rapture will take place. He said, he calculated the given hints from the bible and found out that May 21, 2011 is the exact date of the 2nd coming of Christ.

What will happened on May 21, 2011? What is Rapture?

The word rapture is not mentioned anywhere in the bible, but the bible described it as the blessed hope of Christians, this is the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. During rapture Christ will appear in the sky waiting for His believers, then in just one snap or a twinkling of an eye, all dead believers of Christ will arise physically from their graves.

The physical body of all living faithful Christians will be transformed into a glorious and heavenly body. Christians will fly and joined Jesus in heaven and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

What will happened to people and Christians who are left behind in the rapture?

They will face the beast mentioned in the Revelation 13. Being left from the rapture is the worst thing that can happen to a Christian. The assurance of your salvation is very difficult, the only way for you to go to heaven is by rejecting the mark of the beast (666). If you do not have that mark you are not allowed anything to buy or sell or use basic utilities like electricity or water. Imagine you cannot buy food from the market or grocery unless you have the mark of the beast. Accepting the mark of 666 is like selling your soul to Satan.

What we must do inorder to be Raptured?

We need the seal of GOD. (Ephesians 4:30). The Holy Spirit is our seal. You must accept Christ, be baptized in His name and do his will in order to have that seal.

Should we fear the May 21, 2011 rapture?

Personally I do not believe on Harold Camping. I believe nothing extra ordinary will happened on May 21. I am not accusing Harold, but according to bible He was a false prophet.
“If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him” (Deut. 18:22).
First, this is not the first time Harold predicted the end of the world. He was first announced that Jesus will return on September 6, 1994. Ofcourse it was failed. After two years, he created a new rapture date and he set it on April 3, 1996. Again it was failed. Its very clear and a great evidence that Harold Camp is a false prophet. For those of you who fear the May 21 rapture. Heres a list of prophesies of Harold Camping to be watched.

  1. Harold prophesied that the world’s most terrible earthquake will happened on May 21.
  2. Next, the earthquake will open up all the graves in the world. He told that even the graves and corpse of unbelievers for the last 13,000 years ago will be uprooted and scattered anywhere. So watch out and check the cemetery.
  3. 4th prediction. Millions of people will die everyday starting on May 21 up to October 21
  4. 5th prediction October 21, 2011. God will destroy the earth


    5. Before I end this post, I want to say that rapture date predictions created by false preachers is of the devil and not from the LORD. Yes it brings people to repentance but later on it will make people doubt to God and to his word.
