Feedburner customized Email Subject

Just testing out this new feature from Google Feedburner. Just want to see if I will received a customized email subject from Feedburner from this blog, (coz I am also subscriber via email on this blog just to make sure all things is going fine even in email subscriptions.

Feedburner has recently announced the new feature from their services. Now your blog’s email subscribers powered by Feedburner may now receive your new blog post together with your new blog post’s title as an email subject. For me this is the best Feedburner feature ever.

How to make a customized subject in Feedburner

Feedburner has lots of TABS and site navigation, just incase you lost and can’t find the navigation please check out this page. The screenshot image below is my current Feedburner setting.

${latestitemTitle} is the variable name used to display the new blog post’s title. I’ll update this post once I received a customized email. UPDATE:
The code ${latestitemTitle} doesn’t work, I think the code is case sensitive, so I changed it to ${latestItemTitle} . I’ll update this post again if the code works.

Hot Trends website tool

HOT TRENDS is one of my latest self project. This tool is simply a brief summary of Google Trends’ top 100 keywords. It displays the rank, keyword trend, hotness, and progress of a certain keyword trend. If you are a regular user of Google Trends and loves to blog trending keywords that brings traffic, then make this website tool as guide for choosing your blog topics.

Tips how to use HOT Trends

Want to blog for hot topics? Then follow this few tips

Always look for volcanic topics, I tagged it using this image .. Make a research from that keyword, and make a blog post about it
Emerging volcanic topics can be easily seen and usually appear from the TOP 4 to 10.. a and may become a volcanic topic after few hours.. always check the progress rate. A progress rate of +50, +67, or +70 is a good sign of an emerging keyword from Google trends.
Not just volcanic, watch out also for redudant keywords. Gather these keywords and make a blog post on that topic.

Hope these tips can help you. But I do not assume that HOT Trends alone is a complete help for you to blog for traffic.

Multiple Blogspot URL availability checker

Blogspot is used by millions of bloggers, everyday hundreds up to thousands of blogspot accounts are being created. Finding a good available blogspot url is difficult. Just like I mention lastday, I created a simple php script to handle checking of multiple available blogspot names. And I called it Blogspot Checker hehe

How to create a FAVICON.ICO

Have you ever wondered how to make those picture icon beside your favorite blog and websites’ at the top of your Browser’s titlebar? If you can’t picture out what I am try to point out, heres a sample.

How to make FAVICON.ico

You can use any existing .ico files from your computer, just upload it to your web site and call it using:

If you are using WordPress, open your WordPress Template, edit the Headers, and insert this code.

To create a customized FAVICON.ico, you may use these free ONLINE FREE FAVICON.ICO maker.. these sites allows you to convert your existing .GIF or JPEG files into a .ICO file. Its cool! try it, get your Entrecard profile pictures or your mybloglog.com profile pictures and convert it into .ico file. Or you can use this Adobe PHotoshop pluggin from Telegraphics that allows you to save and convert your existing artwork into an .ICO file. (I am using and preferred this one.) How to convert Youtube code into valid XHTML

Just a plug of my Valid XHTML Youtube site, it allows you to convert a Youtube’s embedding html copy and paste code into a valid xhtml transitional code. If you care about your site’s XHTML validity you are welcome to use it . The current video embedding copy and paste html code of Youtube is using an obsolete code, and it will ruin your site or blog’s xhtml validity if you are going to use it.
