Hi guys, Sorry if my blog was down for several days, my webhost has a server problem. My newly installed wordpress 2.7 become Wordpress 2.5 again! OMG! And my November 2008 – December 2008 posts was lost.
I was restoring my previous post from the Google cache. Hope I can retrieve them all. By the way I am looking for a low cost but good webhost, it must be 99.99% uptime

I’m moving to iwebb.net owned and managed by my friend camper. I just paid for 2 years hosting with 1 free domain kanina, so hopefully this weekend makalipat na ako.
It’s so frustrating Glenn, lalo na sa part mo ang daming nawalang post at comment no? Sa akin nmn, okay pa ang DB. Buti nga nakapag backup pa ako 3 days ago. At ska naka subscribe ako sa site ko through email para may kopya rin ako just in case mangyari ito.

I recently transferred to Liquid Web and has been satisfied with their service so far. Maayos din ang kanilang customer service and technical support which is my primary reason kung bakit sila ang pinili ko.
Try mo sila, baka magustuhan mo. Punta ka lang sa blog ko, may banner ako ng Liquid Web (na shempre, affiliate link din, hehe).
Pero honestly, sa lahat ng pinuntahan ko na webhosting, sila ang naka-meet ng mga requirements ko.

Same thing happened to me! pero nag down grade lang ako sa host ko. Buti di nawala mga post ko. Try mo yung sa akin Hostmonster. Unlimited bandwith and domains. free domain. bigyan kita rebate. hehe. So far sa one year ko walang problema at magrerenew ako sa February sa kanila ulit.

You should webhosting that are known, name like Hostgator, Dreamhost…etc
but if you are interested I have good Web Hosting Package kaso I am just a reseller from Hostgator. Pero based on my experience 99%+ uptime rate nila. And yung kanila customer service is 24/7. why not give a try.. hehe

It will depend really on how big your resources would consume of a shared space. (if youre upto shared webhosting)
for shared, I would recommend hostmonster. (sa akin yun)
for vps, go for rapidvps

hi Jlancer, kaya nga ako lumipat na sa ibang host eh, dahil nakakasawa at nakakapikon na ang PH no! Try mo silang tawagan ng mga 10AM. O baka kaya ayaw na nilang sumagot wala na silang masasabi. For sure nagsasawa na sila sa mura.

Hello boss parehas pala tayo minalas malas sa Philhosting hindi ako nag bloblog pero nawala ang mga bagong pages and scripts ng website ko during december 2008 downtime nagpalit ng name server buwakang ina nasira nga ako sa ibang client ko dahil sa downtime nila. Yung iba nailipat ko na sa Hostmonster. Pero yung website ko malas bayad yun dalawang taon sa philhosting 2010 pa ang expiration pero Im planning to move it to IXWebhosting ang business plan nila 2 free domain and 8 dedicated IP 99.9% uptime din sila. Pero d ko pa na try bayad pa kasi ako sa philhosting. Goodluck bro

i thought i was the only one having this problem. yung na revert lahat ng ginawa mo prior dun sa update ng cPanel nila and other upgrade or changes kuno nung December. I lost a number of files, posts and like you had experienced, my wordpress reverted back from 2.7 to 2.5. It sucks talaga! I sent them a ticket and replied they’ll update me every progress they’ll make in fixing the problem. I waited for another reply only to find out that they closed the ticket already. Bastos talaga!
May times na I can’t access my blog, my admin page and even my cPanel.

Sad cause I’m thinking of getting a plan at philhosting.net, I think they upgraded/restructured their servers to incorporate the ‘zero downtime architecture’ by hooking up a DR server on their primary with real-time data replication to assure that no data is loss if they need to shutdown the primary server and fail-over to the DR. If that’s true based on what is indicated on their site then it’s a guarantee that your site will be 99.99% up at all times. Its tempting cause its cheap and the bandwidth is unmetered. But how about the speed and integrity of the hosting itself? Hmmmmmmm.

Why, do you have a problem if I consider Ruel Mindoro a friend? We’re not close friends, we have not even met. But he helped me with my database when I was just starting, I have talked to him over the phone before and I do appreciate when he rung 2 years ago when I had problems with my domain. Yup hosted other sites ko sa Panelhoster, okay din service nila. Pero need ko sana different IP address para di pare parehas, for SEO purposes.
Before ko po i close ang comment na ito, Gusto ko lang po mag comment para sa side ng Philhosting, dahil infairness po sa kanila. Lahat naman tayo nagkakamali.
Naka host po ako sa Philhosting since 2005 pa, and sa kanila ko din binili ang registration ng gl3nnx.net domain. Sa loob po ng ilang taon ngayon lang po ako nagkaproblem sa Philhosting, mga month of December 2008 yun.
