Lastmonth its only 400. And I am expecting for another few boost after posting this one. Technorati Authority stats is a nice site badge just like Pagerank status indicator. It attracts potential advertisers, specially if you are a pay per post blogger. I don’t claim to be an expert, since I’ve done it, I just want to share it to you guys. And the following tips is just based on my personal experience and observation.

How to increase your Technorati Authority Stats
Register your sites
Claim or Register your blog on Technorati for better site tracking and higher ranking.Ask your blog readers to add your site in their Technorati favorites

Comment posting
As a blog owner I love to receive comments, I love to blog hop and If I like the blog topic I post a comment too. Did you know that comment posting with your site url, gives you an additional Technorati ranking. Technorati count it as a backlink. try it. Post your comment here
Trackback
If your Blog CMS knows how to ping. Blog about other’s blog post. Your blog trackbacks from other blogs is counted as backlink. Try it here. If you blog about this blog post, your blog track back from this post will count as backlink.. and as a sign of appreciation I will add your site in my Technorati favorite. Promise I do not accept trackbacks generated by content snatcher bots.
Link baiting
Create a very very great post. Create a contest. Create a great Wordpress Plugin. Do some link baits. And get free backlinks to increase your Technorati Authority.Get a sidewide links
This one will boost your Technorati Authority a lot. How?- If you owned some blogs. Try to add each other in their blogroll list.
- Trade links with other bloggers.
- Create wordpress themes and submit it to WORDPRESS like I did. And get hundreds of sidewide backlinks
- If you don’t know how to make a Wordpress Theme. Try to create a Valid XHTML and CSS website template. And submit to Openwebdesign and OSWD
- If you don’t know anything about web design. Try to comment on blogs with TOP COMMENTORS and get a sidewide links for free.
- If you know other ways, please share it , post your comments…

@Dave,TheBlogofHeavyMetal: Commenting with your website URL inbedded in your Name is counted as a backlink by Technorati, it doesn’t mind if the link has a rel=nofollow attribute. Placing your link URL within your comment is good too, but with a risk. Some blogs might consider your comment as a spam. Thanks for dropping by dude, just added you to in my favorites

I’ve been looking for a code snippet that will display the image badge of my Technorati authority i n real time. I could not find any, what I found are images saved locally on their blogspace.
