Comments on: Nature Shine Wordpress Theme

I forget to say in the message that I just posted that the usual Edit Widgets area of Wordpress does not work with your Nature Shine theme in the newest Wordpress version, either. I tried adding something and it just removed all the default widgets that came with your theme and did not add the new widget; just left a blank space in the column where all the default widgets were.

The default widgets of your Nature Shine theme do not show up in the usual Edit Widgets area in the Wordpress admin in version 2.9.1, so there is no way to edit them from there and the Nature Shine Wordpress theme file HEADER.PHP that should be there, is not there.

So there is no way available to edit or change the default widgets that come with your Nature Shine theme.

I’m hoping you can shed some light on what to do to fix this.

I love the look of your theme. I just installed it in Wordpress 2.9.1 and the Nature Shine Wordpress theme file HEADER.PHP does not show up in the admin THEME area, in the admin Appearance section, so there’s no way to edit the default widgets or add any widgets.

Is this just a problem with the newest Wordpress version? Is there anything I can do to make your theme useable in Wordpress 2.9.1? Or would you need to make some changes to make it work?

I hope to be able to continue using your theme on my blog but it will be essential to be able to edit the widgets. If that’s not possible in the newest Wordpress version, I’ll sadly have to switch to a different theme.

Hi Glenn,
Sorry for the newbie question: where to find in the theme a file that provides info about the sitemap?
I am required by google webmasters tool to submit a sitemap for checking and optimise my site (hosted not at wordpress.com, but an a distinct domain).
